1. Basic Consultations:
   Pawsitive Pooches offers a wide array of consulting services designed
   to help our human and canine clients build a bond based on trust and
   mutual respect. Our strategy is simple -- we start by listening to
   you. Based on your needs and circumstances, we use our knowledge and
   experience to devise a plan and present you with appropriate options.
   Then you can make an informed decision that will benefit and be right
   for you and your family. Our services include but are not limited to
   the following areas...
   
   Selecting a compatible companion for your family -- whether you are
   looking to adopt from a shelter or purchase a purebred from a breeder
   we can help you get off to the right start.
   
   Evaluation and selection of possible breeders – all breeders are not
   created equal and it is very important to find a professional and
   responsible breeder.
   
   Evaluation, selection, and proper use of equipment and housing for
   your dog - we help with everything from leashes and collars to crates
   and containment areas.
   
   Promoting peace & safety between your dog and members of your
   household – we can help you train your dog to get along with children,
   the elderly, guests, and other pets.
   
   
2. Training
   In-Home Training: private lessons in your home for you and your dog on
   crate and house training as well as basic and advanced obedience,
   
   Canine Good Citizen Classes - we offer an intimate classroom setting where each class has only three to five dogs and owners. This allows you to learn the skills needed to complete the CGC program while receiving individualized attention. AKC's Canine Good Citizen(R) CGC is a certification program that covers basic commands and good manners.
   
   Board-and-Train: intensive private lessons for your dog in our home
   for a day or more; can include obedience refresher sessions and
   behavior counseling programs (note that your dog may bring homework
   for you when s/he returns home!).
   
   
3. Behavioral Counseling:
   We can help you assess your dog's behavioral problems and provide you
   with 'pawsitive,' nonaversive techniques to correct the problems.
   These problems may include one or more of the following:
   
   
   • Bad house manners including; soiling and chewing
     
   • Leash pulling and other bad manners on leash
     
   • Unwanted behavior including; jumping up, destructiveness, digging, excessive barking and chasing (cars, bicycles, etc.)
     
   • Anxiety and Fear issues including; separation anxiety, sound sensitivity, and touch sensitivity (petting, grooming, etc.)
     
   • Aggression toward animals, aggression toward people or resource guarding (food, toys, etc.)
   
   
4. Physical Fitness for You and Your Dog
   Pawsitive Pooches has partnered with Form & Function LLC to provide
   owners and their dogs a holistic wellness plan to a more rewarding
   lifestyle. You and your dog will work together to condition your
   minds and bodies.
   
   
5. Dog-sitting
   We believe it is very important to maintain your dog's routine while
   you are away. We provide individualized services to keep your dog
   healthy and happy in your absence. These include the following:
   
   
   • structured walks and exercise
     
   • supervised play-time
     
   • meals on your dog’s current schedule
     
   • administration of medications
